Peacetime In The Park presented by Sydney Youth Orchestras

To commemorate Remembrance Day, we were joined by the Symphonic Wind Orchestra from Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO) for a special weekend performance of orchestra classics at Bella Vista Pocket Park on Saturday 12 November.

This special event bought people together to reflect and unite in remembrance of our armed forces and pay special tribute to those who have served our nation.

Featuring a selection of well-known wartime tunes, including Waltzing Matilda, Dambusters March, Theme from the Great Escape, Amazing Grace, Abide With Me and Crown Imperial, the crowd was wowed by some of Sydney’s most talented young musicians.
