Learn to Skate with Totem Skate at Bella Vista Pocket Park
First Saturday of select months
Grab your skateboards and join us for FREE Learn to Skate workshops with Totem Skate for kids of the Northwest. Running the first Saturday of March, April, September, October and November 2025, these workshops are the perfect way to enjoy the mild weather months and hone your skateboarding skills.
Designed for kids aged 6+ who are either beginners or looking to refine their skills, these workshops provide a supportive space to develop confidence on a skateboard.
With two sessions running for 1.5 hours, you will be guided by a team of highly skilled and elite coaches through one hour of technical basics and thirty minutes of ramp practice.
Helmets, skateboards, elbow and knee pads are provided on the day, but participants are welcome to bring their own equipment if preferred.
Totem Skate Takeover
10am to 2pm, Saturday 1 March
Calling the kids of Northwest Sydney, kick off the skate season at our Learn to Skate workshop and launch event on Saturday 1 March. With an epic day of skating, learning new skills, and making new friends in your local skateboarding community.
Like the regular workshops, the jam-packed day is free, fun, and open to all skill levels – whether you’re stepping on a board for the first time, or looking to level up your tricks.
