Taste of Diversity Festival at Bella Vista Pocket Park

Landcom invited you to join us to honour Refugee Week at our Taste of Diversity festival to celebrate the diversity that makes their area so special.

On Thursday 27 June from 5pm until 8pm, Bella Vista Pocket Park came alive with a FREE festival for all ages, with cultural performances, activity workshops, and delicious food from Satay Brothers Food Truck.

Entertainment on the night included Ukrainian and Afghan singers, and African drumming performances including an interactive drumming circle. Additionally, there were cultural stalls displaying artifacts, crafts, and traditional dress from the showcased communities and activity workshops that provided hands-on experiences such as henna painting.

The Taste of Diversity festival, held in partnership with the Community Migrant Resource Centre, was the perfect opportunity to connect with other locals while celebrating multiculturalism and enjoying authentic food.
