Landcom and Sydney Metro lodged a concept proposal in November 2019 to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment as part of a State Significant Development application for the government land surrounding Hills Showground Station. Landcom has received submissions on the concept masterplan following the public exhibition period in November and December 2019. Landcom is currently preparing the Response to Submissions Report which is expected to be lodged in mid 2020.
